Dr. Glenn Crosby received his Bachelor of Science in Biology from Rhodes College in Memphis. After studying at St. John’s College in Oxford, England and completing his Master of Science Degree in Biology from Georgetown University, Dr. Crosby returned to Tennessee where he earned his Medical Degree from the University of Tennessee, College of Medicine in Memphis. He completed a surgical internship at Harvard Medical School, Massachusetts General Hospital and completed his residency in Neurosurgery at George Washington University in Washington, D.C. He returned to Memphis where he began his private practice at the Semmes-Murphey Clinic in July 1996. In March of 2003, he founded the Crosby Clinic, beginning a solo practice of Neurosurgery. In February 2019, he joined the St. Francis Medical Partners network where he continues to practice today.
Dr. Crosby has been in the private practice of Neurosurgery for 20+ years. He is Board Certified by the American Board of Neurological Surgery and is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons and is licensed to practice medicine in the states of Tennessee, Mississippi and Arkansas. He provides minimally invasive surgical treatment for spinal disorders including herniated discs, spinal stenosis and degenerative disc disease of the cervical and lumbar spine. He has a special interest in Motion Preservation Surgery including Total Disc Replacement for the cervical and lumbar spine. Surgical treatment is also offered for peripheral nerve entrapment including carpal tunnel syndrome and ulnar neuropathy.

I don't like the portal because I can't change my information such as medicine, allergies, etc. I love the doctor's bedside manners and his knowledge. Not only did he explain everything well but he also showed my wife and I the MRI and where the issue was. He was very informative about the risks of surgery and asked if I wanted to proceed. I had no idea what to expect. I had dreaded it all weekend. Not being familiar with a doctor makes me anxious. My experience could not have been better if they did it over again. Dr Crosby made me feel so comfortable from the moment he walked in. He talked about what he saw on my MRI then carried me back and showed it to me and explained everything. I can't say enough positives for the staff and service at Dr.Crosby's! the care that I receive is prompt and accurate. I never feel rushed or unnecessary! Dr.Crosby takes the time to listen and explain until I feel comfortable with my diagnosis. I have recommended him to family and friends! Dr Crosby literally saved my life after having been turned away by 3 other surgeons at Semmes Murphy. Two who would not even see me because I was not a clear cut case. The 3rd who ignored my symptoms and wanted to send me back to a pain management doctor who wanted me to see a surgeon. Had it not been for Dr. Crosby I would have needed an ambulance to take me to Nashville.
