Bhavana Jasti, MD

Dr. Bhavana Jasti is a board-certified general surgeon specializing in bariatric surgery. She received her medical degree from the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Medicine and later completed a general surgery residency at the same institution. She subsequently completed a bariatric surgery fellowship at Good Samaritan Hospital in Cincinnati,Ohio. Dr. Jasti is passionate about providing care to all patients, including a particular focus on the underserved population. She also believes medical care is only possible through both provider and patient involvement, which she makes evident in the way she engages patients in medical decision making. It is clear in her practice that she values patients’ autonomy and education as crucial pillars in health care maintenance. Outside of work, she enjoys traveling, hiking, yoga, ceramics, painting, baking, and trying new foods.
