My first appointment with Dr. Shiffman was approximately 25 years ago and during this time I have seen him at least twice a year for scheduled appointments and several times a year for unexpected medical problems. I feel blessed to have him as my primary care doctor, so much so that my entire family and extended family are his patients. I respect his knowledge and trust his advice and appreciate his willingness to spend time patiently answering/discussing my questions. I find it amazing that he manages his practice in a way that is personal, professional, and efficient. One example, he has never been late for one of my appointments. Unbelievable! My personal opinion is that if doctors followed Dr. Shiffman's example, more people would be willing to see their doctors on a regular basis and end up getting better treatments and consistent medical care.
