Dr. Sailaja Raju is a family physician treating patients in Memphis and Greater Tennessee. She operates out of Saint Francis Medical Partners and is certified by the Educational Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates.
Educated in India, Dr. Raju attended Sri Devaraj Urs Medical College, where she earned both a Bachelor of Medicine and a Bachelor of Surgery degree. During her career as a medical student, she was awarded a Rajeev Gandhi scholarship. She completed a residency in family medicine at the Saint Francis Family Medicine Program at the University of Tennessee.
Dr. Raju has occupied a number of position in clinical, research, and volunteer roles. At St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, she volunteered for the international outreach program and at the University of Tennessee, she volunteered for maternal and fetal research efforts. She was also a research associate for the University's Department of Pediatrics and completed her residency at UT Saint Francis Family Practice program. She is now working as a primary care physician for Saint Francis Medical Partners in Germantown.

The timing was very fast. Most doctors office the waiting time from check in to seeing the doctor are 45 minutes to 2 hours. Here I am in and out in about 45 minutes. The staff is very dedicated to there jobs and know it well.

That is the cleanest medical office I think I have ever seen. The doctors appearance nicely dressed I felt so bad but as she walked in both times I have seen her I felt "Someone is going to help me" he voice her everything about that office and especially that doctor I highly recommend. I just want to praise the nurses and staff on taking care of Kyle. Kyle became dizzy and faint after he gave blood. His sugar level dropped. He turned white and collapsed. The nurses and doctor were quick to access the problem and took great care of Kyle. They even walked Kyle out to the car. This was very scary for me as a parent because this had never happened to Kyle before. So a great shout out to the whole staff. Kyle and I thank you.

I was weighing 290lbs when I first saw Dr.Raju do too her medical guidance a care too all my medical issues I'm doing well and my weight is now 227 under her care and supervision Blood pressure balance out My COPD is under control, before Dr.Raju I was having seizures under the medication other Doctor's was giving me couldn't walk ten feet without stopping to catch my breath. Now under her medical professional caring I'm not having any problem. Thanks Dr.Raju and staff for your support and professional care too all my medical issues.

I have never been to a minor med but need a strep throat test which was neg. I'm not a minor med person but I was so impressed with the doctors professional appearance, her voice, cleanliness of the office even the floors! But I called my sister as soon as I got in the car to let her know how highly I recommend that doctor. When your use to the same doctor for so many years and all of sudden you have to which you think nobody else can take care of me the same. She was perfect and I am doing much better today.

The staff was great for a Monday, the doctor showed me that she really cared about me. She told me about the services I could receive at that location. She took time with me. Actually listened to what I had to say. I did not feel rushed or a piece of cattle being hurried out and on to the next cow. I felt welcomed. The young lady that took my weight and blood pressure allow me to share with her how I was feeling. I never felt that kind of concern and cafe from a nurse that had others to see. I was so overwhelmed! I was trembling and crying before I came in your office. That young lady greeted me with a smile. She saw me! She really looked at me and allowed me to get it all out. She did not make me feel like a old lady that was just rambling. She has no clue what she did for me. I don't know her name, but she is tall, African American,long hair with a cute band around her head. Please please thank her for me. Thank the doctor as well. Tell that young lady she gave me HOPE and I am forever grateful! Please tell them for me. Their care for me an human being that felt hopeless when I entered the clinic to HOPEFUL. That everything was to be ok for me. Also, tell the doctor I appreciate her keeping her word and ordering the mammogram for me.

Doctor's are just busy people with a lot of notation, discussion, etc. things to do and it generally takes forever. Usually, I'm in and out, but Dr. Raju was short handed that day since Dr. Lingle was out. I think she did a pretty fabulous job with the office only having one doctor on-hand. Loved the little extern girl from Concorde who took me to triage. She has multi-colored braids. She was great!
