Joseph Okolo, MD, is a board-certified cardiologist with over 25 years of medical experience. He received his Master of Public Health degree at the University of Illinois at Chicago and earned his medical degree at the Wright State University School of Medicine in Dayton, OH. He is a member of the American College of Cardiology and a Fellow of American College of Cardiology Society of Coronary Angiography & Intervention. He completed his Internal medicine residency at Yale New Haven Hospital, New Haven, CT, his Cardiology fellowship at St Vincent Hospital, Worcester, MA, and his Interventional Cardiology fellowship at Brown University at Rhode Island Hospital, Providence, RI.

My experience with St.Francis starts with the valet personal. Everyone is so kind , thoughtful and show concern. I make to the office and everyone has a smile and kind word. They come and get me from the back and walk slow with me , I have a back injury and walk with a cane. They get there information I go to the exam room. Before you know it in walks the doctor. I love my visit because I do not leave the room with out the full reason or explanation of why I should or shouldn't continue to do things certain way. In other words , Dr.Okolo takes time to give you the information you need and what is best. This visit I tried to beat around the bush about a test . Well let's just say I lost .Everything was explained to me so clear a child could understand. Before I left, I assured the doctor I understood and will start procedures for the test. He was so kind that my fear of the procedure was gone. I never told him it was me and my fear. I am so thankful for Dr. Okolo and his staff. Back to valet and they wish me safe journey.

I have the most compassionate, and knowledgeable Cardiologist I have ever had as a doctor. Dr. Okolo is very knowledgeable in his field. He explains everything he is doing for my care. He asks me questions to get my input on my care. He checks all my meds to make sure everything is working for me. I would not change doctors for anything, because it is rare to find a Doctor who really care for you as a patient.

I was greeted by a smiling lady as I signed in and gave my insurance card. I was told to take a seat and she would call me shortly. Shortly ,thereafter I was called. I received my card and paid my co-pay and was given my receipt . Truly , she was a very pleasant and professional lady.

Once I returned to my seat, I was called to be seen. The young lady greeted me lead me to the scale then to the room for blood pressure check. Next a young lady came in and introduce herself as Dr. Okolo's nurse. She also had a beautiful smile!! She performed the EKG and was apologetic about coolness of the terminal patches. She was very knowledgeable and professional.

Doctor Okolo came in and we exchange greetings and he proceeded to preform the examination. He told me that my EKG was good. He then ask questions about my medications. He further explained one was constricting and another was expanding the blood veins. He recommended to stop taking one and check blood pressure morning and afternoon for 5 days and send data to him
